GMAC Website Privacy

The GMAC website is a read only brochure site that provides additional information, help text and images for the mobile app users.

Advertising cookies

• Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to GMAC website.
• Google's use of the advertising cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to GMAC and/or other sites on the internet.

GMAC App

Data captured

GMAC application does not capture any personal information. I.e Name, Address, Email address or Phone numbers etc.
Registering a mobile device with GMAC allocates your app an ID that is used to track the items / artefacts you have collected. This ID is a randomly generated string that contains no personal information. On registration, the mobile device type, operation system and software version are collected. This is used for debugging purposes and is not shared with any other party.
Deregistering your device from within the app will remove this Id from the GMAC system.
Error logs are recorded on the app and sent to GMAC if an error occurs. These logs are for debugging purposes, do not contain any personal information and are not shared with any 3rd party.

Camera access

Mobile camera access is required to run the app. The camera is only used within the app to scan QR codes and is not used for taking photographs.
